hi,

let me make clear inregral is just summation so its not gonna effect dimensions of term inside integral sign. Integral of dx/ a2-x2   is 1/a( sin-1 x/a),dimension of dx is L,and that of a2-x2 is also L therefore dx/ a2-x2 is dimensionless and on the R.H.S 1/a has L-1 dimension and sin-1 term is dimensionless, therefore L.H.S is dimensionless and R.H.S is L-1 ,so The eq. is not correct dimensionally.
