Approved Tutor Answer16 Years agoForce,acting on an object such that its magnitude depends only on distance of the object from a fixed point and whose line of action always passes throgh the fixed point(centre),is called central force.Gravitational force,electrostatic force,centripetal force etc. are the examples of central force.
