See marking a one on one comparison but your interests should be the prime factor.
Infrastructure - BITS Hyderabad (Except for academic /residential facilities which RGIPT has it better, BITS has a campus at a better place .)
Extracurriculars - BITS Hyderabad (Much larger batch size to RGIPT.)
Placements- RGIPT (I would advise you to compare statistics one on one and analyse them for job profiles.BITS sees diversification but lower packages, RGIPT sees core heavy placements but has higher packages on an average. )
Faculty - RGIPT (Central funded and part of the IIT+ system)
If you’re getting Petroleum at RGIPT, then RGIPT Petroleum is the obvious choice for the sheer difference in demand and pay. But in your case, I would ask you to enquire about placements and opportunities in detail in BITS. BITS looks a better option for its diversification, don't join if jobs are rare.
Some BITS junta will say its obvious, but BITS Hyderabad isn't equal to Goa or nowhere even close to Pilani. Keep that in mind.485Views·View Upvoters
