for admission into iit u need to first qualify the jee advanced exam , and be on top percentile of the respective board .
and the catagory seats are filled with catagory rank and the general (unreserved seat ) will be filled in the besis of CRL ,
there will be certain reservation in iit , like in which iit , how many seats are there for sc , st , obc and how many for unreserved candidate .
the filling will be happens with that only ,
