if ur board percentage is above 90% only than make a decission of dropping  one year as it is very crucial decission and does not make it in hurry or excitement
think logically, if u scores 200 in jee main next year only then there is chance for nit otherwise dropping a year will nothing be helpful and dont opt for boards and jee main both , as result will not be effective if u do this
