Marks and Rank in IIT JEE

Hi

What is the stream chemistry in IIT kharagpur?Is it pure sciences?

Is it advisable to take that stream in IIT?

My son very much wants to pursue only in IIT or BITS.
Should he take the stream chemistry or drop and try again next year

Chemical is good branch , and your son may try for bracnch change arfter one year.
