Dear Friend you may get a seat at an IIT  but getting a seat at in mechanical may be solely dependent on counseling rounds and also on the availability of seats, so , to be double sur I guess you must visit the official website of an IIT and check your stature there. If due to any unavoidable reasons you could not make it there in your desired branch then you may try seeking admission at some other equally reputed and renowned institutions where the students are given quality education and guaranteed placements. these institutions are – DTU, Delhi,......................SRM University, Chennai,..................Lovely Professional University, Phagwara,.......................BHU, varanasi
