Hello Sir. I am preparing for JEE 2015. And I want Old IITs with Computer science (must). I have seen that different IITs have their closing ranks for each subject. If someone cracked JEE, would he get his selection through this closing ranks only ? Let if I got 500 rank and I want IIT Kanpur at closing at 350 (let) for CSE. What should I do.

Yes, one should get selection according to opening and closing rank of respective IITS. If you get rank 500 you cann't get Computer science branch in any old IIT. So then you have to thing that you want admmision in old IITs or good branch in new IITs.
