I have a question that if in IIT exam two or more than two students get same marks in IIT paper and also same marks in all three subjects then what should be the criteria for giving rank to those students?

They neaver give same rank to all.
then tie break mechanism is applied... seprate marks are compared
in the order.. maths.. physics and chemistry
if there is still a tie then that student who has less negative marks is given the better rank.
