i have interest mostly in astronomy and electronics.so what exatly to be done or i mean to say what exams are proper for it?whether appearing for iit-jee is the correct option?

You''ll need a PhD in astronomy or physics. Cosmology is a class, not a field you can major in. Plenty of scientists don''t do experiments or build instruments; most do their work on a computer. Start with a physics or astrophysics major.
