This year, after a lot of discussion by the senate of IIT and the MHRD, it was finalised that the student has to be either a 75% scorer in the 12thclass board exams OR be in the top 20 percentile of the board he/she has appeared to able to appear in the JEE advanced after clearing the JEE-mains and qualifying for the next stage.As for the next year, it has not yet been published.
