i appeared for the iit 2012 and failed to qualify and i wanted to drop one year for iit jee 2013

but all the changes in the iit 2013 pattern have made it difficult for me. i have got 80% in my 12 orissa state board. I think my percentile for this year should be around 95%.

I want to ask that the 50% marks which will be taken from 12th board is it the percentage or percentile. If percentile is taken then it will be for this year marks or the next year marks.
