According to me you can get any branch in IIT-Madras.

I want you to go for it because IIT-Madras is the best I feel since I have been to all IITs and I feel that IIT-Madras where I did my B.Tech makes me feel at home.

I recommend you to have this preference order while choosing your IIT for your rank.

1.IIT-Kanpur

2.IIT-Bombay

3.IIT-Madras

4.IIT-Delhi

5.IIT-Roorkee

You can get nearly all branches in these top IITs I believe except for IIT-Kanpur and IIT-Bombay.

Any branch is gettable in IIT-Hyderabad,IIT-Indore and IIT-Guwahati. But why go for them? Go for these Old IITs which can give you far beetter benefits and shape up your career far better than these New IITs.
