sir,m obc girl scoring 190-196 n thinking of streams like comp,electrcl,electronics in ny top 7 iits.is it posble? also m intrestd in mechncl bt parents say girls dnt opt it as they r nt able to cope up wid it. what u think sir? need urgent help n advice as lot of tension at home.

your parents may not be awrae that today most of the IIT mech engrs are working on softwares. mech engr does not mean field work. so u must go for mech if u get it. now a days there are many girls students opting for mech branch. all the best

 It's very tuff, even if u get around 5000-6000, to get these branches in top 7 IITs!!!!!!!   U can get them in any new IIT easily!!!!!!!   Well, if ur parents do not allow u to take mech., then give pref. to elect. !!!!!!!!
