I am getting 290-295 marks in JEE 2011. Please tell me my expected rank and which branch and college should i choose.

I live in Gurgaon (near Delhi) so my parents are telling me to join IIT Delhi.

Also, i want to ask whether Chemical Engg or Industrial production is good at IIT Delhi.

Also, if i leave delhi, what is the best choice for me.

with the marks that you have indicated i think you will get cut-off ranks as IIT-JEE 2011 CUT-OFF

which seems to be working fine . if you dont get iit-d then i think you choose any iit if possible because all iit's have the best of student accomodation and facilities to make student study with full concentration. Your parents won't mind sending you to any of them if you get into iit.

You will get rank somewhere near 1200 - 1500 AIR. See below:

Any line has good scope in future. Be ultimate in what you chose. IIT - D is good option. But I will rather suggest you to go in Engineering Physics at IIT - D or take up Computer Science and Engineering ar IIT - G. You will be also getting in Aerospace at Kanpur, the best IIT today and at Kharagpur. So that will be the best choice..
