Hi

You need to score around  60% of marks to get a decent rank. Although the cut off and the ranks are decided each year on the basis of difficulty level of the exam as per the students response.

Rough data about previous year marks/rank-
marks / rank 410-469/ top10
410-300/ 10-1000
300-250/1000-2000
250-200/2000-4000

For IIST , i suppose closing rank ws AIR 7700, and eml students cud nt gt the admission.
