my air is 8025 and state rank is 558 . got 346 choices after registration for counselling. now which nit to choose pls advise.abhilasha

Dear Sanjay,

Please clarify what this 346 choices are you talkin about. Regarding state rank that doesnot have to do anything with your counselling in NITs. Make a balance between the branch and the NITs while opting.

Your order of preferance of the branch should be : -

  1. Comp. Sc.
  2. Electrical
  3. Mechanical
  4. Chemical
  5. Civil

and see the last year cutoff rank of different NITs to check what would be the best option for you:-
