Hello Arpit Sir(IIT-D). For my previous question on whether I could get a seat in IITs, you replied that I can get it(AIR 8367,GE). Due to reservations, wouldnt seats be very few for general category???? Please Sir(its not like im doubting what u said), I just want to clarify. And what branches will be available for me Sir???? havent received a reply yet . . . plsssssss reply!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Increasing seats for OBC doesn't mean diminishing seats for General category. It's simply conveys that 9% seats of total capacity of IITs are increasing for OBC. You can get a fair branch in some new IITs. Go for admirable branch if you are opting for new IIT rather than choosing place. As none has passed out from any new IIT so at present we can't comment on anyone's standard. So just focus to get any good branch like Comp. , Elec. or mech. where ever you get.
