i expect to get 210 marks in iitjee2010 i'm in open categorywhat would be my rank and i'd like to know the best option available to me.Also , whether i should opt for any course in old iits or preferable branch of my choice i.e mech,civil etc in new iits

Your pridicted rank is 4200-4700

your have very rare chance to get prefrable branch in old IITs.

And as compared to the last year's cutoff this year this has been predited that the cutoffs will be lowered, as the difficulty level of the

paper is slightly increased

However score may vary and as a result rank may also vary, a slight difference may create lots of difference in rank.

Old IIT's are the best institute in matter of providing excellent envioronment of education and research in comparison to New IIT

But if you have interest in any particular branch which you are not getting in old IIT then i will advise you to go in new IITs ..
