What is the difference in the paper format and syllabus of jee main and advanced?

There are no such diffrence are there in the syllabus , but jee advanced does not contain the last 3 chap of class 12^th , that is polymer , biomolecules , chemi in everyday life , and also some of the intermediate concept like solid angle , etc are not there in advanced . 
as far as the paper pattern is concerned , then mains paper pattern are fixed , that is 360 marks , but advanced every year changing it interms of either ques or interms of total marks . 
in mains the negative marks are -1 , but in advanced its -2 . 
and advanced ask ques based on interlinking of 2-3 concepts , not directly upon a single concept . 
but mains ques are directly based upon a concept . 
and advanced have diff types of ques like matrix based , integer types , etc . but mains lack that .
