Marks and Rank in IIT JEE> I am getting 122 in mains and 84.2 in bor...

I am getting 122 in mains and 84.2 in bords(cbse)
when i use rank pridictor it shows between 90k to 140k
according to this my state rank will be 9k to 16k
so by this I must get Metelurgy and Chemical in MNIT Jaipur(Home state)
but when i ask people on net they say i wont get any NIT what is the truth

u can get if u have luck but that too in the 3^rd or 4^th round only.you cant expect it in the 1^st or second round

I suggest that you should keep visiting the official website of MNIT Jaipur and keep following the counselling rounds, this way you will be on toes and get a clear picture of your situation whether you can make it there or not, but i have some other good choices to offer as well -
