what is mant by geometric length?How to find length of bar magnet from it.?

The actual length of magnet is called geometrical length.
magnetic length is equal to 5 by 6th of geometrical length..by this we can find the length am I correct.

In a bar magnet the poles of the magnet are situated a little distance inside the ends of the magnet. The distance between these two poles (north and south) is known as magnetic length. The actual length or the size of the magnet is called the geometric length.
