               MAGNET IS A  SUBSTANCE WHICH ATTRACTS SPECIFIC MATERIALS TOWARDS ITSELF IS CALLED A MAGNET.

Magnet can be defined as the substances which attracts the ferromagnetic material or iron towards it . 
in magnet the field lines exist in outside as well as inside also . 
the strength of the magnet are higher in its poles , and in the middle the strength are quite low . 
if u will suspend it with the help of a string , then it will allign itself towards north – south direction .
