Dear student....as we know potential energy of magnetic dipole in uniform magnetic field = - MBcosΘ .....PE= - 8×2×cos120°= - 16× (-1/2)= +8 J.....With Regards....Mahima....(Askiitians Forum Expert )

The potential Energy of a magnetic dipole placed in magnetic field is given by
PE = - MBcosΘ
where M is magnetic moment
B is magnetic field strength
and Θ is angle between dipole and magnetic field.
So PE = -8*2*cos1200 = 8.
Hope it clears.
