magnetic field is is directly proportional to I/r
THen in first question
5I/(6-x) = 2I/x
5x = 12 – 2x
x = 12/7 cm.

Suppose P is the point between the conductors where net magnetic field is zero.
So at P |Magnetic field due to conductor 1| = |Magnetic field due to conductor 2|
μ04π2(5i)i=μ04π2(2i)(6−x)⇒5x=96−x⇒x=307cmμ04π2(5i)i=μ04π2(2i)(6−x)⇒5x=96−x⇒x=30/7cm
Hence position from B=6−307=12/7cm
