The other day i had brought 2 strong magnets together with graphite powder in btw the 2 magnets in a linear configuration. When i brought them closer to each other( 5mm away) , surprisingly the graphite powder jumped to one magnet !!! How is this possible??

this is due to polarity,as we know graphite conduct electricity and also opposite side of magnet attract each other and same side repel,thats why graphite is being attracted by any magnet due to polarity thank you
