Dear student,

Lorentz force acting on a particle is proportional to the velocity of the body.

Now the gain in kinetic energy due to moving through potential difference is
$\dfrac{1}{2}mv^2=qV$
$\implies v\propto\sqrt{V}$
Hence the force becomes $\sqrt{5}F$
