good question but here’s one more fact ‘’ magnetic field is conservative’’ but force due to magnetic field is not conservative …. thats the straight answer 
and a bit long one
in a non conservative force work done to move a particle from any point A to B in a magnetic field will be effected by path chosen  (the path could be a curve , a zig zag , or even a straight line ) …
but in case of conservative force the work done is independent of path chosen  ...
