in ncert , its written that we consider a SURFACE while considering this law...

shouldn't it be LOOP instead??

in the topic of gauss law for magnetism....ncert has considered tiffin shaped structure as ampere's surface....(while proving the presence of displacement current)

can anybody make me understand?

actually ampere’s law involves surface.actually it can be any surface with boundary fixed.but result is dependent only on boundary chosen and not on surface.for a fixed boundary u can chose any surafce and all surface will give same result only
