when a bar magnet has cut althogh they have opposite pole yet they repel each to other why it happens?

Hello,

If you cut the Magnet along the axis of the Magnet, then the two pieces so produced, also behave in the same way i.e. they have the same poles along the same direction. Thereby, the two pieces are going to repel each other.
Similarly, if you cut the Magnet perpendicular to its axis, again there are going to be two magnets formed which would have the poles along the same orientation  and thereby would also repel each other when brought together.
