Two protons are moving with same velocity in magnetic field of same magnitude, then --

a)Magnetic force on protons may be zero

b)Magnetic force on both must be same

c)Magnetic force on both may or may not be same

d) both (a) and (c) are correct.

The correct answer is (d).I can't understand how the stat (a) is true.Please let me know

a) statement is true and magnetic force can be zero that depends on the direction of velocity and magnetic field.

option d is correct because force depends on angle  so force can be zero as well as different for diff angles
