IF A HOLE IS MADE IN A MAGNET, THEN ITS MAGNETIC MOMENT INCREASES OR DECREASES OR REMAINS SAME?

Dear Mihir,

If a hole is made into a bar Magnet, Then Magnetic dipole moment of that particular magnet remains same

As Magnetic Moment =  m(pole strength) * l(distance between poles).

So you can see that if you make a hole in the magnet then that will not affect its moment .

Magnetic moment will decrease because intensity of magnetisation is magnetic moment per unit volume.M is directly proportional to volume. When u make a hole volume decrease so M also decreases
