If no. of elements in set A and B respectively is m and n such that 1
Then the formula of calculating the no. of onto function from A to B is
∑(-1)n-r nCr rm  r varies from 1 to n
for this question n=2 and m=4
putting the values
{ (-1)1 2C1 14 +(-1)0 2C2 24 }
   = -1x2x1 + 1x1x16
   = -2 + 16
   =14
