 Given that sweep of cone X=3 times range of cone Y 
Let range of cone X=r 
So sweep of cone Y=3r 
Let tallness of cone X=H 
Tallness of cone Y=h 
Given that Volume of Y is a large portion of the volume of X 
Let volume of X= V 
Volume of Y=v 
So v=1/2V 
v/V=1/2 
volume of cone =1/3 πr2h 
Contrasting two cones. 
Volume of cone X= 1/3 πr2H 
Volume of cone Y=1/3 π(3r)2h 
Isolating both, 
1/3 π(3r)2h/1/3 πr2H=1/2 
9r2h/r2H=1/2 
h/H=r2/18r2 
h/H=1/18 
This would be the ratio.
