1 + w + w2ย = 0
hence we can writeย 
1 + w = โ€“ w2ย  andย  1 + w2ย = โ€“wย  and w3ย = 1ย  ย  ย  when required
ย 
Now
(1 + w)3ย โ€“ (1 + w2)3
( โ€“ w2)3ย โ€“ ( โ€“w)3
ย โ€“ w6ย + w3
ย  โ€“ 1 + 1
ย = 0
ย = RHS
Hence Proved
