Dear Student,
This questions is very easy if you understand it by venn diagram. (A-B) is region in A which is not in B. and therefore (A-B)U(B-A) will be the region of A which is not in B and region in B which is not in A. And this is same as(A (union) B) - (A (intersection) B).
