One solution of this equation is x=0

for x=1, 2+3+4>5
for x=2, 4+9+15>25
for x=3,8+27+64<625
imply there is one more solution between 2 and 3, hence total solution of this equation is 2.

» My doubt : Yes , there should be atleast a root between 2 and 3. I got that. But how do we confirm there is just one root and not any odd number of roots between 2 and 3?
In simple words , functional values at x=2 and x=3 are opposite , ie, any odd number of roots can be there right? Why only one root and not 3 or 5 roots???
