The shopkeeper gets the change from the next shop and keeps 200 for himself and returns rs.800 to d lady. Later the shopkeeper of the next shop comes with the 1000rs note saying "duplicate" and takes his money back. "How much LOSS did the shopkeeper face ?" Since the lady in question here gets goods worth 200 and another rs.800 in cash, she made a profit of 1000. consequently the shopkeeper faces a loss of 1000 (since the other shopkeeper neither gets any profit or loss)

ok i get it the answer is 1000
as lady get product of Rs200 + Rs800 cash so she is in profit of Rs1000
on the other hand poor shopkeeper suggered A LOSS of Rs1000

1800 beacause the 1000 note was duplicate note and he gave 800rs to the lady so he loses 1800 plz tell me is this correct answer?

@Priyanka’s right.
 
S1 sold 200Rs worth of goods. got paid 200Rs. Transaction neutralised.
S1 gave change to customer 800rs.
S1 gave full refund of 1000rs to S2. 
 
800+1000=1800rs.
