The motor of an engine is rotating about its axis with an angular velocity of 100rpm. It comes to rest in 15s , after being switched off. Assuming constant angular deceleration, calculate the no. of revolutions made by it before coming to rest.

find  ∞ , angular acceration by, w 2  - w 1 = ∞ t ,alpha comes out to be , - 2∏ /9  rad/sec 2.

 

find total angular distance  s = ut + 1/2  a t 2  , 

no.of  rotations   =   s /  2∏     =   12.5
