divide rolling of the three dice as three independent events, the appearence of a given no on the dice has a probability of 1/6,the other dice have their entry fixed that is in this condition they must show up the no. appearing on dice 1 hence their probability is 1 and 1.since these are independent total probability is 1/6 * 1 * 1 =1/6

total no of possible outcomes = 6 on one dice *6 of second dice * 6 of third dice
=6*6*6
=216
posiblility all have same no
111
222
333
444
555
666
out of 216 outcomes the probability of having all the same no is 6 (not 36)
6/216
=1/36
