The question is not complete.Considereing the question to be
1/a,1/b,1/c are in ap .Show that (b+c)/a,(c+a)/b,(a+b)/c are in AP.
Given that 1/a,1/b,1/c are in AP
Increase each term by (a+b+c).The result will likewise be in AP.
(a+b+c)/a , (a+b+c)/b , (a+b+c)/c are in AP
Subtracting 1 from each term will likewise be in AP
(a+b+c)/a - 1 , (a+b+c)/b - 1, (a+b+c)/c-1
Consequently (b+c)/a,(c+a)/b,(a+b)/c are in AP
