Because when again applying uv rule differentiation of 1 becomes 0.
Hence it is always beneficial to assume firs function that function which after certain differentiation becomes constant i.e. 1

We ned to integrate the function till we get unity , because  , it is the constant limit , and fter that the rate of change will be equal to zero.
Hope this will help
