We can use integration to: –

find displacement from velocity and velocity from acceleration using indefinite integrals.
find volume of an object with curved sides.
find resistance of a rotating body when it has curved edges.
find the work done on an object when the force is not constant.
calculate average value or area of a curve.
calculate the work done when electric charges are separated.
