L = (\frac{1}{2})^{\lim_{x\rightarrow 0}\frac{1}{x}}
L = (\frac{1}{2})^{\lim_{x\rightarrow 0^{-}}\frac{1}{x}}
L = \infty
L = (\frac{1}{2})^{\lim_{x\rightarrow 0^{+}}\frac{1}{x}}
L =0
So the limit does not exist.
