Dear student
 
assume sec x = t
 
sec x tan x dx = dt
now
 
we can write it as
 
integration of sec x (secx )^p-1 tan x dx
 
 = t^p-1 dt
 
 = t^p / p + c
 
 = sec^p x  / p + c
