can we find the value of pie by integrating equation x^2+y^2=r^2 where r is the radius of a semicircle.

Dear Nehal

By integrating this you can get the area for the limits you impose on x or y. for finding the perimeter you have to integrate the infinitesimal length on circle.length of arc on a circle is RΘ where Θ is the angle subtended by the arc on the center of the circle. suppose you take very very small arc on the circle such that it subtends angle dΘ then length of the arc is RdΘ

now integrate RdΘ for the limit 0 to 2∏
