Why uptill now has anyone found atom with 200 or 300 electrons? And why in this world did scientists discovered the atoms containing electrons 1,2,3.... and so on in a series one after the another. Is it just an assumption that this X atom has this much electrons and the other has this much......

no of electron is a realtion btwn the K line in in the emmision spectrum of atom which mostly gives a whole no or linear relation so this relation is mostly whole no. and same for all isotope of a given element so it named as atomic no which is no of protons or electrons in a neutral atom
