Why potassium oxide rubidium oxide and caesium oxide turns red litmus blue and finally white

Hy ashit First of all potassium, Rb, Cs forms superoxide with oxygen... ie KO2,RbO2.. Here Oxidation number of oxygen is - 0.5 which is less stable so it shows high basic nature and it converts red litmus blue.. Hope U like it
