1) Al is amphoteric while Fe is not amphoteric.
2) NaAlO2 exists in water as co-ordination compound NaAl(OH)4 .
But Fe cannot form such a co-ordination compound and hence there is no NaFeO2
But Fe cannot form such a co-ordination compound and hence there is no NaFeO2
