why ionic charater is higher in cl-f bond of clf3 than s=o of so2

In both the molecules of SO2 and ClF3 non metals are bonded to each other.
F is more electronegative than O. hence F creates more polarity and hence ionic character than O
also there are 3F atoms and 2O atoms, ionic charachter is more in ClF3 than SO2.
